Service Description
Program overview Our beginner mountain programs are perfect for learning the fundamental skills for mountain biking. We cover trail manners and rules, basic body positioning, braking technique and the correct use of changing gears. Your child will be left stoked after the great ride with new friends as well as being a much safer, in control rider with many new skills under their belt. PLEASE NOTE: ALL RIDERS PARTICIPATING IN THIS PROGRAM MUST BE ABLE TO RIDE WITHOUT SUPPORT FROM AN ADULT OR TRAINING WHEELS. RIDERS MUST ALSO BE ABLE TO RIDE COMFORTABLY ON DIRT/GRAVEL. WHAT TO BRING Please bring the following: A bicycle in good working order. (front suspension is highly recommended). Well fitted Australian approved helmet. Sufficient water and food for the duration of the session. Enclosed shoes Yourself with a smile! As always, the more protective gear the better. Knee pads and elbow pads aren't compulsory but are highly recommended. ARRIVAL/MEETING AREA Please arrive 10 min prior to commencement. All participants must be checked in and ready with their helmets and bikes. Participants must check in with their parent/guardian. Unfortunately, we can’t delay programs for late participants. Please contact me if you are running late and I can accommodate you the best I can. INSURANCE: We strongly recommended taking out Aus Cycling insurance. Take advantage of their free 4-week trial!
